چکیده

The forced oscillator method (FOM) is particularly suitable to treat very large matrices by using advanced modern supercomputers. This method enables us to calculate in an efficient way spectral densities, eigenvalues, and their eigenvectors of large-scale matrices. In addition, linear response functions of systems described by these matrices can be computed by the FOM. We have also developed the finite-time scaling approach to obtain the precise value of dynamical exponents with less computational effort. It is shown that the power law behavior (!) / ! is hold in the critical region of the metal-insulator transition for 3D Anderson systems.

Simulation and perturbation analysis of escape oscillator

The dynamical behaviour of the forced escape oscillator, which depends on the parameter values we considered, have been studied numerically using the techniques of phase portraits and Poincar'{e} sections. Also, we employed perturbation methods such as Lindstedt's method to obtain the frequency-amplitude relation of escape oscillator.

COMPARING NUMERICAL METHODS FOR THE SOLUTION OF THE DAMPED FORCED OSCILLATOR PROBLEM

In this paper, we present a comparative study between the Adomian decomposition method and two classical well-known Runge-Kutta and central difference methods for the solution of damped forced oscillator problem. We show that the Adomian decomposition method for this problem gives more accurate approximations relative to other numerical methods and is easier to apply.

Efficient Solution of Nonlinear Duffing Oscillator

In this paper, the efficient multi-step differential transform method (EMsDTM) is applied to get the accurate approximate solutions for strongly nonlinear duffing oscillator. The main improvement of EMsDTM which is to reduce the number of arithmetic operations, is thoroughly investigated and compared with the classic multi-step differential transform method (MsDTM). To illustrate the applicabil...

Analytical Solution for the Forced Vibrations of a Nano-Resonator with Cubic Nonlinearities Using Homotopy Analysis Method

Many of nonlinear systems in the field of engineering such as nano-resonator and atomic force microscope can be modeled based on Duffing equation. Analytical frequency response of this system helps us analyze different interesting nonlinear behaviors appearing in its response due to its rich dynamics. In this paper, the general form of Duffing equation with cubic nonlinearity as well as par...

How the Nonextensivity Parameter Affects Energy Fluctuations

In this article, the effect of the nonextensivity parameter on the energy fluctuations of nonextensive systems is studied in two different versions of the Tsallis statistical mechanics. Once a general expression has been reported for the energy fluctuations in the second version (Tsallis work in 1988), the energy fluctuations of an ideal gas and a harmonic oscillator are studied in the second a...
